FTL boasts some of the sharpest scientific talent in the country at the helm of its operations. We have experts in autosomal DNA, mitochondrial DNA, sample collection and preservation, forensic casework and methodologies, and more.
We have direct access to Ph. D's in almost any imaginable discipline thanks to our relationship with New Mexico State University. We have experts certified by the American Board of Criminalistics, and are members of various organizations including the American Academy of Forensic Science, and the Association of Forensic DNA Analysts and Administrators.
Facilities and Infrastructure
FTL is a state-of-the-art 8600 square foot laboratory. We've been careful to bring in and develop top-of-the-line instruments for DNA analysis, including capillary DNA analyzers and sequencers, automated extraction robots, real-time PCR analyzers, and chemistries that are certified by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Our laboratory is second-to-none in quality, accuracy, and precision.
You can rest assured that your evidence and sensitive data are safe. We've employed multiple layers of physical and electronic security. This includes alarm systems which monitor door access and motion within the lab, biometric security locks, camera surveillance systems, firewalls, computer access control systems, network intrusion detection systems, redundant power systems, over 5.5 Terabytes of redundant data storage systems with multiple backup systems, and more.
