Casework Form

Examination and Extraction

In order to identify potential sources of biological material, we utilize the Lumi-Light™ crimescope, presumptive testing, and a variety of confirmatory tests (Takayama, RSID, X-Mas Stain). For DNA extraction, we have a variety of techniques including state-of-the-art robotics and Differex™ which isolate the major bodily fluids and cellular materials yielding excellent results for forensic casework.

DNA Analysis

We're equipped and prepared to perform Autosomal (STR) DNA analysis, Y-Chromosomal (Y-STR) DNA analysis, Mini STR DNA analysis (which is ideal for degraded samples), and Mitochondrial (mtDNA) analysis. For mtDNA analysis, we offer both screening and full sequencing services. We use proven techniques and methods to pull identifying DNA profiles from evidence of all sorts, be it from normal crime scene evidence and reference samples, or evidence subjected to the extremes of any environment.

Testimony, Deposition, and Consultation

We're ready to appear in court or prepare a written or verbal deposition to testify about our findings or to act as expert witnesses for your case. We'll comprehensively review any case and consult with you regarding results performed by any other laboratory. We’ll summarize our findings and/or issues in a manner that is customized to your needs and easy to understand.

Our experts are highly experienced with providing witness testimony for both Prosecution and Defense.
